Drivers for the CH341 USB-Serial chipset
These drivers were downloaded directly from the manufacturer's website http://www.wch.cn/downloads.php?name=pro&proid=5 and so are believed to be the official drivers. I put them on this site for convenience only and they come with no guarantee that they will work or are malware free.
There should be no need for drivers on any modern linux system, there are almost certainly included in the kernel but are also included here for completeness.
It also appears that Windows 8 (well 8.1 at least) may be able to include the drivers automatically without the need for downloading from here or elsewhere. Be aware this took a few minutes on my test system.
